E-Invoicing Consultant

Role Overview

E-Invoicing Operations

• Support daily e-invoicing and related finance processes.
• Monitor invoice creation, transmission, validation, approval, and reporting.
• Analyze and coordinate resolution of e-invoicing transaction and processing issues.

ERP and Integration Support

• Liaise between business stakeholders, ERP teams, IT teams, and external service providers.
• Coordinate resolution of integration, interface, transaction, and data quality issues.
• Support ERP and e-invoicing configurations, enhancements, and integrations.

Testing and Implementation

• Support implementation, rollout, compliance, and system upgrade projects.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Conduct UAT and regression testing, manage defects, and support sign-off and go-live activities.

Compliance and Data

• Support compliance with UAE VAT requirements and applicable e-invoicing regulations.
• Maintain customer and supplier master data and support Chart of Accounts maintenance.
• Validate invoice and transactional data and coordinate resolution of accounting configuration issues.

Documentation and Support

• Document end-to-end finance, tax, and e-invoicing processes and recommend improvements.
• Prepare process documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.
• Train end users and provide ongoing functional support and guidance.
• Use SQL, ERP reporting, and data analysis tools to investigate transaction and integration issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Four to six years of experience in ERP systems, finance applications, tax technology, or e-invoicing support is required.
• ERP, tax technology, or relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
• Oracle Fusion Financials, UAE VAT, accredited service providers, middleware, SQL, and reporting experience are preferred.
