Job Summary

The Warranty Administrator manages and processes automotive warranty claims efficiently and accurately.

The role ensures compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures while minimizing financial risk to the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit warranty claims with required documentation and justification.
  • Liaise with manufacturers on warranty coverage, approvals, and disputes.
  • Maintain records of claims, repairs, replaced parts, and manufacturer responses.
  • Collect repair information, labor hours, and photographs from service teams.
  • Ensure compliance with warranty policies and support OEM audits.
  • Explain warranty coverage and claim status to customers.
  • Track claim trends, approval rates, and rejected claims for management reporting.
  • Validate warranty parts and labor charges against applicable guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school education or a diploma in business administration or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of warranty administration experience in the automotive industry.

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of warranty processes and manufacturer policies.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or dealer management software.
  • Strong data entry and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
