The accountant will work with property managers and client teams to provide accurate financial information to landlords.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare rent and service charge invoices in line with lease terms and ZATCA e-invoicing requirements.
  • Monitor receivables, maintain aged debt reports, allocate receipts, and flag arrears.
  • Process property-related payables and verify invoices against contracts, purchase orders, and budgets.
  • Perform bank, client account, and intercompany reconciliations and follow trust accounting requirements.
  • Support service charge accounting, budget uploads, expenditure tracking, accruals, and year-end reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly client reports, income statements, budget variance analysis, and cash flow summaries.
  • Ensure VAT, withholding tax, Zakat, ZATCA, IFRS, and statutory compliance.
  • Support audits with documentation and analysis.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate or property management in KSA or the GCC.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential.

  • English fluency is essential; Arabic is highly preferred.
  • ERP or property management system experience, including Yardi, Oracle, or SAP, is advantageous.
  • Based in Riyadh with occasional travel to managed assets within the Kingdom.
  • Valid driving licence and reliable transportation are required.

Professional Skills

  • Client-focused, analytical, accurate, deadline-driven, and capable of resolving discrepancies through to closure.
  • Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Able to collaborate with property management, leasing, and facilities management teams while taking ownership of assigned entities.
