Role Overview
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of group benefits clients.
Deliver proactive, high-touch client service while supporting benefits administration, problem resolution, and ongoing program success.
The role reports to the Vice-President of Enterprise Group Solutions.
Client Relationship and Service Delivery
- Build trusted relationships with clients, plan administrators, and key stakeholders through timely and proactive support.
- Own client service issues through resolution, escalate complex matters appropriately, and communicate progress and outcomes.
- Manage competing client priorities with accuracy, professionalism, and care.
Benefits Administration and Support
- Manage eligibility, coverage, claims, billing, enrolments, terminations, beneficiary updates, and general plan administration requests.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve service issues.
- Support plan implementations, transitions, onboarding, plan changes, annual enrolments, and employee communications.
- Prepare benchmarking reports, benefit summaries, meeting materials, presentations, and communication pieces.
- Review contracts, benefit booklets, policies, and administrative documents for accuracy and alignment with plan provisions.
Team Collaboration and Quality
- Collaborate with consultants, analysts, carriers, and internal service teams to deliver client outcomes.
- Maintain complete and accurate client records, documentation, and account notes.
- Review client-facing deliverables for accuracy, professionalism, and consistency.
- Share knowledge with team members, support junior colleagues, and participate in internal service improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in group benefits.
- 10 or more years of experience in a client service role.
- Strong working knowledge of group benefits products and carrier processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently manage issues through resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple client deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team approach and commitment to exceptional client service.

Compensation
- Base salary is $75,000 to $85,000 annually.
- The stated base salary excludes variable compensation such as annual bonus and commission.
- Actual base salary may vary with market conditions, geography, and job-related factors.
