People Corporation is seeking an Account Service Representative for its Life Benefit Solutions team.
The role manages and supports a portfolio of group insurance and retirement clients.
This is a fixed 12-month term, full-time, hybrid position based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with some flexibility for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned block of clients and provide consistent, proactive service.
- Host employee meetings and training sessions for plan administrators in person and virtually.
- Educate plan members and administrators about group insurance and retirement benefits.
- Respond to client inquiries by email, phone, and meetings.
- Liaise between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams.
- Build trusting relationships with new and existing clients.
- Collect and process documentation accurately and on time.
- Identify solutions to maintain a high standard of service.
- Track service standards regularly and support additional tasks and projects.
- Travel regularly to client sites, including multi-day overnight trips.
Requirements
- Experience in group insurance, pension or retirement, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong client service, relationship-building, communication, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable, late-model vehicle are required for regular client-site travel.
- The role requires the ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.

Life Benefit Solutions is a division of People Corporation and provides group insurance and retirement brokerage services.
The division designs benefit programs for Indigenous employers and integrates Non-Insured Health Benefits where appropriate.

Compensation
- The base salary range is $60,000 to $70,000 per annum.
- The stated range covers base salary only and excludes potential bonus or commission compensation.
- Actual base salary may vary based on market conditions, geography, and job-related factors.
