About the Role
Qatar Airways is seeking a Security Operations Officer to oversee contract security staff and ensure compliance with security protocols at Hamad International Airport. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of airport/aviation security experience.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise contract security supervisors & staff and direct daily activities
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding staff access definitions and requests
- Compile documents and stats in relation to incident reports and trend analysis
- Create statistics and reports from Daily Shift Reports and Incident reports
- Assist in response to emergencies or major operational disruptions
- Conduct regular foot/mobile patrols at passenger terminal buildings, construction sites, apron areas, etc.
- Conduct drug and alcohol tests and carry out right of search policy as authorized
- Respond to operational accidents or incidents and report to Management
- Ensure transfer's security checkpoints and hold baggage screening process are delivered in compliance
- Ensure secondary screening duties are performed per foreign authorities’ requirements
- Supervise staff screening and man guarding positions and perform operational quality control
Requirements
- High School / Vocational / Diploma or Equivalent with minimum 4 years of Job related experience
- Bachelors or equivalent with minimum 4 years of Job related experience
- Experience in Airport / Aviation Security Background
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office (Power point, Word, Excel)
- Preferred to have a Driving License

About the Role
- Oversee and Supervise contract security supervisors & staff and direct daily activities to ensure quality of output and deployment to the plan.
- Communicates with responsible stakeholders with regards to staff access definitions and requests.
- Support stakeholders with compiling documents and stats in relation to incident reports and trend analysis.
- Regularly creating statistics and reports from the Daily Shift Reports, Incident reports.
- Assist in response to any emergency or major operational disruption or threat affecting HIA or its group subsidiaries.
- Regular foot/mobile patrols at passenger terminal buildings, construction sites, apron areas, midfield area and other areas.
- Conduct Drug and alcohol test and carry out right of search policy as authorized.
- Respond in case of any operational accident or incident reported both at landside and airside.
- Ensuring transfer's security checkpoints and Hold baggage screening process are delivered in compliance.
- Ensuring secondary screening duties are performed in compliance with foreign authorities’ requirements.
- Responsible to ensure other airline security services are delivered as per foreign authorities’ requirements.
- Staff screening and man guarding positions shall be supervised and operational quality control activities performed.
About You
- High School / Vocational / Diploma or Equivalent with minimum 4 years of Job related experience
- Bachelors or equivalent with minimum 4 years of Job related experience
- Experience in Airport / Aviation Security Background
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office (Power point, Word, Excel)
- Preferred to have a Driving License.
