Its properties offer culinary experiences, entertainment, sports and fitness activities, spa and wellness services, and activities for children and teenagers.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Lead safety training sessions and promote adherence to safety practices and protocols.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare reports with corrective action recommendations.
  • Collaborate with management on safety improvement plans and initiatives.
  • Maintain records of safety incidents, training, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure the availability and proper use of PPE and other safety equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support on safety matters to employees at all levels.
  • Maintain pool cleanliness and support guest and staff health and safety through regular cleaning and equipment maintenance.
  • Use communication tools to disseminate information, conduct daily follow-ups, and maintain quality and service standards.
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and remain prepared for emergency situations.
  • Promote teamwork, coach employees, review procedures, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in a similar Safety Officer or HSE role is required.
  • Experience in the luxury hospitality industry is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and risk management regulations, standards, and best practices is required.
  • Experience with safety inspections, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations is required.
  • Ability to prepare safety reports, corrective action plans, and compliance documentation is required.
  • Knowledge of PPE requirements, emergency response procedures, and safety training delivery is required.
  • Good English communication skills and the ability to train, guide, and support employees are required.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to workplace safety are required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic hotel environment is required.
