AV Operations

• Oversee setup, configuration, operation, and maintenance of microphones, projectors, video displays, sound systems, and video conferencing systems.
• Maintain equipment in working condition and manage repairs or replacements.
• Manage AV inventory, storage, equipment usage records, and maintenance schedules.
• Work with event planners and stakeholders to define AV requirements.
• Provide on-site event support and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Plan and coordinate AV equipment setups for events and meetings.
• Ensure AV elements meet event objectives and quality standards.

Team and Department Management

• Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate AV team members and technicians.
• Prepare and manage the AV department budget, equipment purchases, and maintenance costs.
• Procure AV equipment and services and manage vendor relationships and contracts.
• Recommend improvements to the efficiency and quality of AV services.
• Ensure operations comply with policies, regulations, and safety protocols.

Technical and Entertainment Duties

• Operate projection systems, visual splitters, wireless microphones, lighting desks, DMX splitters, and DMX programming systems.
• Build truss constructions and coordinate stage setups, sound checks, and singer or band riders.
• Manage shows and remain familiar with recreation facilities, evening programs, and show timings.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in AV management or a related field.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Audio-Visual Technology, Information Technology, or Event Management is preferred.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physical fitness for rescues, extended standing, and outdoor duties in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork, discipline, and professionalism in high-pressure environments.
• Commitment to hygiene, safety, guest satisfaction, training, emergency drills, and continuous skills development.
