Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in security, safety, facility protection, or similar role
- Certification in Security Management, Safety Management, or related field preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
- Fire Safety or Emergency Response Training preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control technologies
- Understanding of emergency response procedures and basic first aid practices

Job Overview
- MTM Group is seeking a professional, vigilant, and customer oriented Facility Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of members, guests, employees, and company assets within our fitness facility.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, enforcing security procedures, responding to incidents, and supporting emergency preparedness while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities Security Operations
- Monitor all facility entrances and exits to ensure access is limited to authorized individuals.
- Oversee the movement of members, visitors, and staff to maintain compliance with security policies.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address potential security or safety concerns.
- Enforce club policies, safety procedures, and security protocols at all times.
- Prevent unauthorized activities and ensure restricted items are not brought into the facility.
Incident & Emergency Response
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, or suspicious activities.
- Act as the first responder during safety or medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
- Assist in the implementation of evacuation procedures during fire drills or emergency situations.
- Maintain readiness to support emergency response plans and safety initiatives.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports involving injuries, theft, property damage, safety concerns, or policy violations.
- Document and report security observations, hazards, and operational concerns to management.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Customer Service & Team Support
- Maintain a visible, approachable, and professional presence throughout the facility.
- Assist members, guests, and staff with security related inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Collaborate closely with reception, operations, housekeeping, and other departments to promote a safe environment.
- Provide reception coverage when required or assigned by the Division Manager.
Education & Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in Security Management, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid Certification is an advantage.
- Fire Safety or Emergency Response Training is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security, safety, facility protection, or a similar role.
- Previous experience in fitness clubs, hospitality, recreational facilities, or customer facing environments is preferred.
