Overview

  • We are looking for an entrepreneurial, commercially driven Business Development & Operations Manager to lead the launch and growth of ARCAN in Qatar.
  • This is a unique opportunity to build a premium coffee brand from the ground up.
  • You will take ownership of the entire business—from developing sales and managing supplier relationships to overseeing imports, operations, and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build ARCAN's customer base from the ground up.
  • Identify, approach, and secure recurring B2B accounts across cafés, restaurants, hotels, offices, and hospitality businesses.
  • Develop long term customer relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and consistently achieve growth targets.
  • Manage the relationship with the Ethiopian coffee roaster.
  • Coordinate product samples, quality specifications, private label packaging, purchase orders, and replenishment.
  • Ensure consistent product quality and availability.
  • Coordinate product importation and customs clearance.
  • Manage Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) product registration requirements.
  • Ensure Arabic labeling and regulatory compliance through relevant partners.
  • Oversee inventory management and warehousing.
  • Coordinate timely deliveries to customers.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or commercial account management.
  • Strong face to face selling skills and confidence in cold outreach.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, margins, and cash flow.
  • A hands on approach with a willingness to manage both strategic and operational tasks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network within the HORECA, hospitality, or F&B sector in Qatar.
  • Experience launching a new business, product, or market.
  • Interest in specialty coffee or premium food and beverage brands.
  • Experience working with international suppliers.

Success in Your First 90 Days

  • Established the supplier relationship and completed initial product approvals.
  • Successfully coordinated the first import and regulatory compliance process.
  • Secured the first recurring customer accounts.
  • Built an active pipeline of cafés, hotels, restaurants, and office clients.
  • Implemented reliable pricing, delivery, and reorder processes for early customers.
