Responsibilities
- Patrol the premises regularly to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security risks
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment
- Control access to the facility by verifying visitors, contractors, and deliveries
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, accidents, or suspicious activities
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Conduct opening and closing security checks as required
- Ensure doors, gates, windows, and restricted areas are secure
- Assist with emergency evacuations and follow emergency response procedures
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to management
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence while enforcing company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related field is an advantage
- Valid security guard license or certification (where required by local regulations)
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills for report writing and monitoring security systems
