About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support preparation of Security Risk Assessments, Security Strategies, and other technical security consultancy reports
- Assist in conducting threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments for built environment projects
- Collect and analyse crime statistics, threat intelligence, and relevant data
- Conduct site surveys, inspections, and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities
- Review architectural drawings, planning submissions, and design documentation for security risks
- Coordinate with clients, authorities, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and project documentation
- Support senior consultants and project managers throughout project delivery
- Assist in design and coordination of electronic and physical security systems (CCTV, Access Control, IDS, PIDS)
- Support construction, testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in security risk management or built environment discipline (security studies, physical security engineering, or related field)
- Some experience and basic competencies demonstrated; early career stage
- Strong technical, analytical, organisational, communication, and presentation skills

Job Purpose

Qualification / Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a security risk management or built environment discipline in security studies, physical security engineering, or a related field.
- Some experience and basic competencies demonstrated.
- Typically, in the early stages of their career.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of Security Risk Assessments, Security Strategies, and other technical security consultancy reports.
- Assist in conducting threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments for projects within the built environment sector.
- Collect and analyse crime statistics, threat intelligence, and relevant data to support security assessments and recommendations.
- Conduct site surveys, inspections, and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and existing security measures.
- Review architectural drawings, planning submissions, and design documentation to identify security risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with clients, authorities, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to support project delivery and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
- Support senior consultants and project managers throughout all stages of project delivery.
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, design reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination activities.
- Assist in delivering projects within agreed timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Support the preparation of project briefs, scopes of work, fee proposals, and tender submissions.
- Assist in the design and coordination of electronic and physical security systems including CCTV, Access Control, IDS, PIDS, and related security technologies.
