- Deliver in teams that include Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs
- Work with a team to define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to help customers move sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster
- Resolve security assurance questions and help customers manage risk and achieve compliance in the AWS Cloud through deep dive discussions, strategic presentations, and hands on demonstrations
- Work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps
- Travel to customer sites as needed
Requirements
- Experience in risk management and internal audit including performing risk assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Security or other related fields
- 5+ years experience in IT security, compliance and risk management, data privacy, or security controls
- 2+ years experience advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards and regulations such as NIST 800 53 and GDPR

Description
- The AWS Security Assurance Services team leverages expertise to establish scalable security solutions for internal and external customers.
- The team works with largest enterprise customers to operationalize the shared responsibility model as they migrate to the cloud.
- Seeking a Security Assurance Solutions Architect to help expand the Security Assurance practice and educate customers on product led, people powered services.
Key job responsibilities
- Expertise – Delivers in teams that include Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
- Solutions Work with a team to define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to customers.
- Delivery – Resolve security assurance questions and help customers manage risk and achieve compliance through deep dive discussions, strategic presentations, and hands on demonstrations.
- Insights Work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in risk management and internal audit including: performing risk assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Security or other related fields.
- 5+ years experience in IT security, compliance and risk management, data privacy, or security controls.
- 2+ years experience advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards and regulations such as NIST 800 53 and GDPR.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, CISA, CIA or equivalent risk, audit, or compliance credentials.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- CISSP, CISA, CISM or other security certification, or GCIH, GSEC, or Security+.
- Experience in performing security assessments and information system audits of network, operating systems, application security, as well as auditing IT processes.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
