Role Overview
Nord Anglia Education is recruiting an HR Manager for Compass International School Doha, Qatar.
The HR Manager will lead people management across the school and work with the Principal and leadership team to deliver strategic and operational HR support.
The anticipated start date is January 2027, with an earlier start date possible.
The Role
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for all school roles with the Principal and school leadership team.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations, providing advice, coaching, and mediation.
- Oversee payroll inputs, contract renewals, attendance management, and personnel file maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE requirements, and Nord Anglia HR policies.
- Manage employee visa renewals, residency processes, and exit procedures.
- Coordinate annual appraisal and performance review processes.
- Support managers with goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
- Partner with the Principal on workforce structure, compensation, and people priorities.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing across the school community.
The Successful Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CIPD qualification is desirable.
- Five to seven years of HR generalist or management experience, ideally in a school or service-led environment.
- Strong understanding of Qatar Labour Law, employment legislation, and immigration processes.
- Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment and onboarding.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Skills in HR systems and data management; SuccessFactors experience is advantageous.
- Cultural awareness, empathy, and ability to thrive in a diverse international setting.
