Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting traditional and modern Saudi dishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Oversee mise en place and ensure smooth workflow during service periods.
  • Support menu execution, seasonal updates, and tastings under the guidance of the Head Chef.

Quality, Standards & HACCP

  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

People Leadership

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor junior chefs and Commis staff in traditional Saudi culinary techniques.
  • Assist in daily briefings, team training, and staff development initiatives.
  • Foster a professional, disciplined, and culturally respectful kitchen environment.

Financial & Administrative

  • Support inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO), and waste control.
  • Assist in portion control, cost management, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, consumption, and stock levels.

Guest & Brand Experience

  • Uphold the restaurant s standards for authentic Saudi cuisine and luxury guest expectations.
  • Implement feedback and continuous improvement measures for culinary quality and service.
