Job Overview
The role involves planning and optimizing satellite services infrastructure, ensuring capacity, resilience, and performance.
The role holder coordinates investment planning, network integration, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the annual CAPEX for Satellite Services Infrastructure (GEO, MEO, and LEO)
- Analyze Satellite Services Infrastructure plans to ensure transport, and optical network requirements are aligned
- Coordinate with all stakeholders teams including WBU, CBU, EBU, Royal, STS, and Infra to assess voice and broadband project forecasts for Satellite services
- Review network capacity, utilization, and performance reports for Satellite to ensure adequate capacity and service readiness
- Optimize investments and drive the evolution of Satellite services infrastructure to improve network efficiency, resilience, and coverage
- Lead the planning and execution of the rollout roadmap for approved next-generation satellite technologies, ensuring alignment with business priorities and network transformation objectives
- Develop and maintain the Satellite Services Infrastructure strategy, including modernization, expansion, spectrum utilization, and technology evolution
- Monitor Satellite Services Infrastructure performance and availability, ensuring compliance with service KPIs and implementing optimization plans where required
- Oversee the design of GEO/MEO/LEO satellite access and transport networks, including all integration requirements
- Integrate multi-orbit satellite systems seamlessly with terrestrial infrastructure
