Job purpose
Manage and monitor the financial and operational performance of the Fiber business.
Maintain financial performance frameworks and KPIs and provide performance insights and reports for business decision-making.
Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and profitability management with Business Finance and relevant stakeholders.
Performance management
- Manage and maintain the Fiber business P&L in coordination with Business Finance.
- Define, maintain and monitor financial and business performance KPIs and metrics.
- Identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead Fiber business performance reports and management dashboards.
Planning and forecasting
- Coordinate annual CAPEX and OPEX budget requirements and targets with technical, business, commercial and other stakeholders.
- Manage reforecasting of financial targets based on actual business performance.
- Monitor profitability KPIs, revenue streams, costs and performance against approved targets and forecasts.
Analysis and reporting
- Analyze financial and operational performance trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Validate financial assumptions, performance data, forecasts and business requirements with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support periodic business performance reviews with financial analysis, insights and recommendations.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial and performance reporting under applicable policies and governance requirements.
Experience and education
- Five years of relevant experience are required.
- Prior experience in strategic and financial planning in the telecommunications industry is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
Knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of telecommunications and fiber industry trends and developments.
- Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, performance management, P&L, CAPEX, OPEX, revenue and profitability management.
- Knowledge of financial forecasting and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, reporting and business performance analysis skills.
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Certifications
- Certified Management Accountant certification is listed as an additional certification.
- Chartered Financial Analyst certification is preferred.
