SAP Solution Architect

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• **Solution Design:**
• Translate complex business needs into scalable SAP S/4HANA Finance architectures, covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• **Global Template Governance:**
• Lead end-to-end design authority for Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, ensuring cross-border consistency and compliance.
• **Integration & Consolidation:**
• Architect seamless data flows between SAP FICO and other core modules (MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems, including SAP Group Reporting.
• **Transformation Management:**
• Lead system conversions and migrations (Greenfield/Brownfield), employing best practices like the SAP Activate methodology.
• **Continuous Optimization:**
• Drive process automation, reporting, and AI-driven enhancements within the financial systems landscape
• Essential experience must include
• **Deep S/4HANA Knowledge:**
• Proven expertise in the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Central Finance, and latest SAP financial technologies.
• **Architectural Leadership:**
• Strong ability to lead blueprinting workshops, govern global rollouts, and mentor junior functional consultants.
• **Industry experience**
• – It is highly preferable for the successful candidate to have a proven track record delivering SAP solutions in either the government retail, banking, or manufacturing space
• **Consultancy background**
• – Must have a proven trac record of delivery working for a major global systems integrator, SAP partner or IT consultancy organisation
• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
• **SAP s/4 Implementation:**
• Minimum 15 years SAP FI/CO implementation experience including at least 5 years live SAP S/4 customer project experience previous to which 7 to 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO implementation experience.
