Overview

  • Business Development Manager (Hunter profile) required by rapidly growing consultancy client based in UAE.
  • Role is predominantly new business sales focused but also includes owning and growing existing major named accounts.
  • Individual Contributor role with career progression into team management.

Responsibilities

  • Bring new business by establishing direct contact with customer base, driving growth in orders and revenue.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by developing strategic relationships to align solutions to customer's Business and IT initiatives.
  • Generate new pipeline and new business by engaging with customers at various levels (operational, management, Executive).
  • Map the market through understanding of market trends and dynamics; develop account strategy.
  • Develop customer information repository with details on IT spends, current service providers, renewals, pain points.
  • Leverage existing relationships with ecosystem partners to expand customer engagement model.
  • Develop opportunities in designated Target Market through warm calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submissions, and customer appointments.
  • Engage with customers to understand their overall strategy and key business drivers; develop roadmap to facilitate closure of contracts.

Essential Experience/Skills/Background

  • Proven record with strong reliable contacts and relationships with customers in large enterprises within the UAE.
  • Proven track record in sales quota achievement.
  • Sales hunter mentality to prospect, qualify and close new business.
  • Strong understanding of market and technology vendor landscape in Digital infrastructure, Security, Managed Service and Digital Experience.
  • 15 years experience in consultative selling to, and relationship management of, large multi national corporations.
  • Experience in creating solutions for customers based on their business and IT initiatives.
  • Experience selling to, and management of, customers with managed services in WAN, LAN, Hosting, Messaging, Security, and Application Performance Optimization.
  • People management can act as a team lead on occasions coordinating/managing a group of individuals transversally for a specific opportunity.
  • Arabic speaker advantageous.
