Job Purpose

• Provide functional support and ownership of SAP MM and Retail processes to ensure stable and efficient business operations.
• Lead issue resolution, system stabilization, and backlog reduction during the post-go-live support phase.
• Support critical business functions including procurement, inventory management, retail store operations, and production-related processes.
• Act as the primary liaison between business users, internal teams, and external SAP implementation/support partners.
• Strengthen internal SAP capabilities through knowledge transfer, user support, and guidance while supporting future enhancement initiatives.
• Act as SAP Champion educating the business, improving ways of working and sharing best practices

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional support for SAP MM and Retail business processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve business-critical issues impacting procurement, inventory management, retail operations, production, and related processes.
• Support SAP stabilization activities and ensure system reliability and operational continuity.
• Work closely with business users, IT teams, and external partners to identify and resolve process and system issues.
• Manage and prioritize incident resolution, service requests, and enhancement requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, and sales reconciliation processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions for recurring issues.
• Assist in testing, change management, and deployment of system enhancements and fixes.
• Support upcoming SAP enhancement initiatives and future project phases.
• Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to internal support teams.
• Develop and maintain support documentation, process guides, and operational procedures.
• Act as a key functional advisor for SAP MM and Retail-related business requirements.

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, business administration, or other related field Or equivalent work experience
• Project management certification is required, preferably on Agile methodologies
• Good understanding of retail & grocery business
• 7+ years of SAP functional experience with strong expertise in SAP MM.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in delivering ERP projects
• Proven experience supporting SAP Retail environments and retail business operations.
• Hands-on experience in SAP post-go-live support, hyper care, adoption, business processes and stabilization.
• Strong understanding of:
• Procurement and purchasing processes
• Inventory and warehouse management
• Retail store operations
• Stock movements and inventory controls
• Material master and vendor master management
• Experience managing production support, incident management, and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience conducting user training and knowledge transfer activities.
• Experienced to work as SAP champion and able to educate the business on SAP/ processes and ways of working
