Role Overview

  • The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • This role requires a strong leader with excellent sales skills, a deep understanding of the food delivery market, and the ability to drive team performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates, share best practices, and address any challenges.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members to improve their performance and career development.
  • Sales Planning: Collaborate with your line manager to develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans.
  • Drive the strategy, creation, and execution of sales initiatives across your cities to enhance performance.
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the management of the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities and consistent performance.
  • Monitor team members' activities and provide guidance on managing their pipelines effectively.
  • Support the team in closing deals and negotiating contracts with partners.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track and analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and success.
  • Ensure that team members meet or exceed their sales and commercial targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in business or a related field is preferred.
  • 4 5 years of sales & negotiation experience preferably within a high growth company.
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the food delivery or hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • F&B industry experience in the UAE is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Results oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passionate about the food delivery industry and staying current with market trends.
