Objectives of this role
- Thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment with high volume workload and short turnaround times
- Raise the bar for writing fresh Arabic first copy that connects with the audience and drives action
- Vary voice, style, and messaging based on communication channels and audiences
- Maintain up to date knowledge of communication and Deliveroo's style guidelines and brand voice
Responsibilities
- Interpret creative briefs to develop Arabic first concepts
- Work with brand and marketing team to develop Arabic first copy and captions for campaigns
- Work with marketing team to develop Arabic first copy for CRM and owned channels
- Translate content from English to Arabic and vice versa, with main strength in Arabic copywriting
- Research customer needs and target audiences in UAE and Kuwait; write copy in Arabic that suits UAE and Kuwait dialects (Khaliji)
- Write original Arabic first copy and edit content for marketing materials
- Present Arabic copy concepts and final deliverables to the team
- Revise Arabic copy based on feedback
