About the role

  • The role will provide office support to the DQ Sales team with all analysis and manage the administrative requirements of the department. Accountabilities

  • Ensure all requests received are actioned within the department SLA and process bookings for enquiries that are converted.
  • Administer the initial IOL (DQ Internet Booking Engine) Account Profile Set Up and IOL Account Profile changes (on set up and contracting terms).
  • Raise the Tour Operator contracts in CMS and follow through for approvals.
  • Administers Client Correspondence in a timely and effective way for any FIT, Group | MICE and Sales Leads.
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders on client/sales requirement on product (accommodation; transfers and tours) /service delivery.
  • Provide regular sales leads based on market research regarding tour operator and competitors and provides the Management with the relevant information on pricing, promotions and market updates.
  • Coordinates and communicates (with the Marketing/ E Com Team) all types of advisory and notification to Trade partners that includes: Sales Campaigns / Promotions, Destination Events & Marketing Initiatives, Sales Updates.
  • Ensures the Sales Team is fully equipped with up to date materials like sales kits; pricing sheets; B2B selling platform developments; operational updates.
  • Organizes and distributes sales updates to relevant (INTERNAL) stakeholders in the organization.
  • Prepares and provides weekly/monthly sales & revenue reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Investigate and report all potential concerns.
  • Ensure customer details are kept up to date and reflected in all database.

About you

  • High School Qualification/Vocational Qualification/Diploma or Equivalent or Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job related experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of job related experience required (Travel and Leisure/ Airlines / Tour Operator).
  • Client focused and business acumen with proven interaction to all levels within the department.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills.
  • Command of English language.
  • Strong computer knowledge of MS products ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Administrative tasks to be executed in a precise and accurate manner and warrants a candidate to be able to effectively manage priorities and time given the demands of the department.
  • Ability to prioritize, organise and coordinate projects; effectively present and resolve critical business initiatives within corporate functional areas preferred.
