Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base across decorative, industrial, and protective paints
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, painters, and builders
- Drive project sales by engaging with architects, consultants, developers, and institutional clients
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies
- Negotiate and close high value deals, tenders, and long term contracts
- Provide technical guidance on paint systems, product applications, and surface preparation to clients and teams
- Ensure timely collections, proper stock management, and effective credit control
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance analysis
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams for product launches, promotional activities, and customer support
- Drive brand visibility and awareness through trade shows, exhibitions, and local market initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5–10 years of experience in the paint or coatings industry
- Strong experience in channel sales, dealer management, and project sales
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- In depth knowledge of decorative paints, industrial coatings, and allied products
- Understanding of paint application techniques, surface preparation, and product systems
- Experience in handling B2B, institutional, and retail sales segments
- Ability to build and maintain long term relationships with dealers, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Familiarity with market dynamics, pricing strategies, and competitor analysis
