Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve sales targets set by the management.
  • Identify sales opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to tailor sales strategies that align with the hotel's business objectives.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and other stakeholders to generate business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Respond to client inquiries, conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and address client needs to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage the sales team, including setting sales targets, monitoring performance metrics, and providing guidance and support to achieve sales objectives.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to motivate the sales team and ensure alignment with sales goals.

Sales Planning And Execution

  • Develop sales plans, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with the sales team and the management to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Implement sales campaigns, promotions, and incentive programs to drive bookings, increase revenue, and promote the hotel's services and amenities.

Market Analysis And Reporting

  • Conduct market research, analyze sales data, and prepare sales reports to evaluate performance, track trends, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, adjust sales strategies, and capitalize on revenue opportunities in the market.

Event Sales And Coordination

  • Coordinate sales efforts for events, conferences, group bookings, and other special promotions to maximize revenue and occupancy.
  • Collaborate with the events team, marketing department, and operational staff to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and event bookings.

Revenue Optimization

  • Work with the revenue management team to optimize room rates, pricing strategies, and revenue streams based on market demand, competition, and sales performance.
  • Implement upselling techniques, package offerings, and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.
