Role Overview
Sales role supporting Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a luxury five-star beach resort in Dubai.
The position focuses on leisure sales, key accounts, prospects, tour operators, and client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage key accounts, key prospects, and active accounts to meet production targets.
- Maintain account call objectives, action plans, activity information, and rate information.
- Prospect new accounts and convert them into producing accounts.
- Use the account system fully and keep all account information updated.
- Handle group and event enquiries and provide accurate handover to the meetings team.
- Communicate client requirements to internal departments to support superior guest service.
- Coordinate follow-up with reservations and accounting and confirm details with clients.
- Keep property rate sheets accurate and report action-plan obstacles to the Director of Sales - Leisure.
- Arrange familiarization and educational trips according to business needs.
- Entertain clients and prospective clients in hotel outlets to showcase the property.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a similar role in the luxury hospitality industry.
- At least two years of active experience managing tour operator relationships in relevant markets.
- At least two or three additional languages beyond English.
- German, French, or Russian are preferred additional languages.
