Role Overview
The resort is seeking a passionate and dynamic Sales Manager - Leisure to deliver customer service and creative solutions to guests.
The role is responsible for implementing sales activities and maximizing business opportunities in an assigned area.
Sales Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive coverage of the assigned portfolio and service accounts across managerial and departmental executive levels.
- Implement sales objectives and action plans to reach or exceed targets.
- Set parameters, prepare quotes, and negotiate prices for transient and group business.
- Generate sales leads for Rotana and provide feedback on market and competitive trends.
- Maintain major account files and support the account management system.
- Follow selling strategies and maximize upselling opportunities.
Education and Experience
- A degree in sales is required.
- Minimum two years of postgraduate work experience is required.
- Experience within the hotel industry is preferred.
- Computer literacy, excellent presentation skills, and highly effective written and oral communication are required.
- Proficiency in English is essential, while additional language skills are an asset.
Knowledge and Competencies
- The candidate should have a guest- and service-oriented attitude, a proactive approach, flexibility, integrity, professionalism, and a strong drive for results.
- The role requires a track record of exceeding targets and the ability to identify, implement, and execute sales strategies and account plans.
- Relevant competencies include understanding hotel operations, effective communication, business planning, people supervision, teamwork, adaptability, customer focus, and drive for results.
