Overview

Our client is a technical service company based in

Abu Dhabi,

specializing in flow and control solutions, particularly valve-related services such as repair, refurbishment, automation, inspection, testing, and system integration, along with actuator maintenance, fabrication, and on-site support.

Serving sectors like oil & gas, power generation, water, petrochemicals, and industrial construction, the company is looking to hire a driven

Sales Engineer

to support its growth.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: AED 7,000 – 8,000 + commission + petrol allowance

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Petrochemical sectors
  • Generate leads, build pipelines, and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Manage pre-qualification (PQ) processes and vendor registrations; represent the company at exhibitions and trade fairs
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions (control valves, safety valves, etc.)
  • Prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, and commercial quotations aligned with industry standards

(ASME, API)

  • Deliver technical presentations and product/service demonstrations to clients
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including coordination with engineering and workshop teams
  • Conduct site visits for assessments and on-site technical support
  • Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to closure and delivery coordination
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to profitability goals
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates
  • Mentor junior team members and support internal collaboration

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • **5–10 years of experience in technical sales/business development within the valve or mechanical services industry**
  • **Strong technical knowledge of valves, pumps, piping systems, and industry standards**
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently and within a team
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office
