Job Summary

  • The Sales Director – UAE is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention across the DP World Logistics portfolio within the UAE market.
  • The role will own, develop and grow an existing Book of Business while identifying and securing new business opportunities across freight forwarding, contract logistics, warehousing, customs brokerage, transportation, and value added logistics solutions.
  • The incumbent will act as a strategic commercial leader, building long term customer relationships, and positioning DP World Logistics as an integrated end to end supply chain partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a significant portfolio of existing customers, ensuring revenue growth, retention, and profitability.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Drive cross selling and upselling opportunities across the full DP World Logistics service portfolio.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities through proactive business development activities.
  • Lead strategic customer engagement and contract negotiations for key accounts.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across target industry sectors.
  • Develop relationships with decision makers, procurement teams, and senior stakeholders within customer organizations.
  • Leverage market intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and competitive threats.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Design, Operations, Freight Forwarding, and Contract Logistics teams to develop compelling customer solutions.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Lead executive level customer reviews and business development discussions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive account management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Valid UAE driving licence.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of commercial experience within logistics and supply chain solutions.
  • Proven success managing and growing a substantial Book of Business within the UAE market.
  • Demonstrated experience selling integrated logistics solutions including Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, Warehousing Solutions, Customs Brokerage, Transportation and Distribution, and Value Added Logistics Services.
  • Strong network of customer relationships across the UAE logistics market.
  • Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and strategic account management activities.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
