Job Purpose

  • Work closely with Director of Commercial Strategy, Associate Director of Sales and sales team.
  • Ensure smooth and effective operation of the division.
  • Act as link between sales team and various hotel departments.
  • Support team with administrative tasks to achieve property sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all requests are handled within time frame.
  • Update all activities related to company account management in system.
  • Contribute to development of company sales initiatives.
  • Attend major events in hotel & city as requested.
  • Mobilise at all opportunities to cross sell the brand worldwide.
  • Constantly monitor the market and competition.
  • Support customer loyalty and property's brand standards.
  • Service customers to grow share of the account.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, guests and team members.
  • Handle guest complaints and disputes.
  • Ensure excellent working relationship with all colleagues.
  • Effectively communicate with all other hotel departments.

Qualifications

  • Senior school qualifications.
  • Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a 5 star hotel environment within Sales.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Previous experience in GCC an advantage.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Charming and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
  • Positive attitude and good communicator.
  • Ability to plan and organize workload.
  • Effective time management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
