The Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving vehicle sales targets and managing the customer journey from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery.
The role requires product knowledge, negotiation skills, customer service, and long-term relationship building.
Key responsibilities
- Assist walk-in and potential customers and recommend vehicles based on their requirements and budgets.
- Present vehicle features, specifications, benefits, accessories, promotions, financing, and insurance options.
- Arrange test drives, follow up with prospects, generate leads, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Prepare quotations and proposals and negotiate sales within company policies.
- Coordinate booking, registration, financing, insurance, and delivery processes with relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and conduct post-delivery follow-ups to encourage satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
- Stay current on vehicle models, competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
Role requirements
- Strong product knowledge covering vehicle models, specifications, features, accessories, and promotions.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage the complete vehicle sales process.
- Ability to understand customer needs, recommend suitable vehicles, and explain related services.
- Ability to build customer relationships, maintain accurate CRM records, and achieve sales targets.
Performance expectations
- The role includes monthly and annual vehicle sales targets and timely follow-up with prospects and customers.
