Role Overview
Coordinate and manage vehicle insurance activities within the Aftersales department.
Support accurate and efficient claim processing to enable timely vehicle repairs and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and register vehicle insurance claims for accidents, repairs, and covered damages.
- Collect customer information and documents required for claim processing.
- Liaise with insurers, insurance representatives, surveyors, and third-party providers.
- Submit complete claim documentation accurately and on time.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections and surveyor appointments.
- Follow up on approvals, repair authorizations, additional repairs, supplementary estimates, and settlements.
- Coordinate claim and repair activities with Service Advisors, Workshop, Parts, and Body Shop teams.
- Maintain claim files, records, approvals, estimates, payments, and supporting documents.
- Review approvals against repair estimates and clarify discrepancies before repairs proceed.
- Communicate claim and repair status to customers and handle related concerns.
- Assist with repair estimates and submit accurate insurance invoices and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Finance or Accounts and prepare regular reports on claims and outstanding payments.
Process Requirements
- Maintain accurate insurance claim records and supporting documentation.
- Ensure invoices and claim documents are accurate and properly submitted.
- Follow company policies, insurance requirements, and applicable procedures.
- Communicate with customers professionally and escalate complex issues to management when needed.
