Safety Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and non compliance with HSE regulations.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and safe working practices across all construction activities.
• Ensure all workers, subcontractors, and site personnel use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and induction sessions for workers, subcontractors, and new employees.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor high risk activities including scaffolding, excavations, lifting operations, electrical works, formwork, and work at height to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure proper implementation of method statements, risk assessments, and permit to work systems.
• Maintain HSE documentation, including inspection reports, toolbox talk records, incident reports, and training records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve safety issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure fire safety measures, emergency evacuation procedures, and first aid facilities are maintained and communicated on site.
• Monitor housekeeping, waste management, and environmental compliance to maintain a safe working environment.
• Prepare daily HSE reports and communicate safety observations and incidents to the Safety Engineer and site management.
