Responsibilities
- Support implementation, maintenance and improvement of KONE safety management system
- Compile, maintain and improve safety documentation
- Plan, participate in and implement projects and activities to improve safety
- Monitor and develop safety risk management processes, tools and practices
- Perform safety audits regularly to verify compliance
- Analyze and investigate incidents
- Manage corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement
- Support training and development of others' safety competences
- Proactively communicate safety information including investigation outcomes and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in safety in elevators, construction, or related industries
- NEBOSH certificate mandatory
- IOSH certificate mandatory
- Excellent English & Arabic language skills
- Passionate about safety with excellent communication, training and organizational skills

What will you do?
- Support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of KONE safety management system including worker, user and third party safety.
- Cultivate an understanding and actively caring culture for safety. Act as a role model.
- Compile, maintain and improve safety documentation together with the unit safety team.
- Actively participate in and contribute to unit safety committee and other safety forums.
- Provide professional advice and support to the unit on matters affecting safety.
- Plan, participate in and implement projects and activities to improve safety.
- Work closely with customers and partners, including KONE subcontractors.
- Support the development, review and exercise of crisis and emergency response plans.
- Monitor and develop safety risk management processes, tools and practices.
- Support safety related change management projects and initiatives.
- Collect, measure and ensure accuracy of leading and lagging safety data. Report performance.
- Monitor legal and business environment development in safety, identify and propose actions.
Are you the one?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in safety in elevators, construction, or related industries.
- Passionate about safety with excellent communication, training and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- NEBOSH, IOSH certificates mandatory.
- Excellent English & Arabic language skills.
