About the Role
Emirates Group seeks a Safety Promotion and Training Specialist to create and implement safety promotion and training programs across the organization. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in Medical, Safety or Ground Safety, with a background in Safety, Communications or Training.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Internal Communications and training departments to plan and deliver relevant training and communication material
- Develop and design concepts for safety promotion materials based on layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
- Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to line departments to support safety promotion initiatives
- Survey and analyze safety promotion results to determine effectiveness
- Act as a point of contact for business units to provide guidance on safety promotion
- Design and deliver safety training and communication material for all staff
- Contribute to departmental newsletters, webpages and SharePoint sites
- Develop and manage a safety briefing/training plan
- Plan and coordinate Group Safety input into conferences and seminars
- Explore new technologies and methodologies for safety promotion
- Project manage safety promotion projects and manage allocated budget
- Manage a safety resource library (physical and electronic)
Requirements
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- At least 5 years experience in Medical, Safety or Ground Safety
- Background in Safety, Communications or Training
- Previous airline safety experience is highly desired
- Experience in a role related to safety promotion accountabilities
- Understanding of safety promotion strategies and communication methods
- Knowledge of graphic software, layout, web design, and printing techniques would be advantageous
- Knowledge of training strategies and methodologies
- Strong project management experience
- Advanced written and verbal English communication skills

Job Purpose
- Join our Group Safety team, where you will play a critical role in upholding Emirates' commitment to safety across our global network.
- Create, implement and support an overall safety promotion and training programme to ensure a coherent, integrated safety promotion, awareness and training approach within the Emirates Group.
- Contribute to employee engagement by ensuring an accurate, timely and appropriate flow of safety promotion and training throughout all levels of the organisation.
In this job you will:
- Partner with Internal Communications / Corporate Communications and the relevant training departments to plan and deliver relevant, timely and engaging training and communication material for all employees.
- Develop and design concepts for safety promotion materials based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
- Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to line departments to support safety promotion initiatives.
- Survey and analyse safety promotion results, with the assistance of analytic tools, to determine the effectiveness of safety promotion activities.
- Act as a day to day point of contact for business units to provide guidance and support regarding safety promotion.
- Design and deliver safety training and communication material for all staff as appropriate using a range of methods.
- Contribute to departmental newsletters, webpages and SharePoint sites to ensure consistency of the corporate safety messages.
- Develop and manage a safety briefing/ training plan to ensure the consistent, relevant and timely delivery of safety information.
- Plan and coordinate Group Safety input into conferences and internal Group Safety led briefings and seminars.
- Explore the use of new technologies and methodologies to ensure the internal safety promotion activities are managed in the most impactful and effective way.
- Project manage a variety of safety promotion projects including managing the relevant elements of the annual safety promotion budget.
- Manage a safety resource library (physical and electronic), ensuring ease of access to safety promotion resources by all staff across the organisation.
Qualification
- Hold a Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- Have at least 5 years experience in Medical, Safety or Ground Safety
- A background in Safety, Communications or Training. Previous airline safety experience is highly desired
- Experience in a role related to the safety promotion accountabilities
- Understanding and application of a variety of safety promotion strategies and communication methods and activities
- Knowledge of graphic software, layout and illustration types, web design layout, new technologies and printing techniques would be advantageous.
