- Willingness to work on site in Dubai with flexibility for occasional events outside standard hours

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Russian Speaker Student Affairs Specialist role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- The specialist supports Russian speaking students throughout their academic journey, providing guidance on enrollment, registration, and academic policies.
- Daily responsibilities include advising students on university procedures, responding to inquiries in Russian and English, and coordinating orientation, workshops, and student events.
- The role involves managing student records, preparing reports, and ensuring timely communication between students, faculty, and administration.
- The specialist also helps address student concerns, facilitates referrals to support services, and contributes to initiatives that enhance student engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Russian and English, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken forms.
- Experience in student support, academic advising, or student affairs within a university or educational setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple student cases and administrative tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse student populations and collaborate with faculty and staff.
- Ability to manage student records with attention to detail and maintain confidentiality in line with institutional policies.
- Comfort with standard office software and student information systems; familiarity with CRM or university management platforms is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Administration, or a related field; prior experience in an international or Russian speaking academic environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of UAE higher education context and willingness to work on site in Dubai, with flexibility to support occasional events outside standard hours.
