Role Overview
Provide rotating equipment engineering support across design, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, reliability, and project handover activities.
Support high-complexity projects while maintaining reliability, availability, and cyber security objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Support design reviews, studies, commissioning, start-up, failure analysis, advanced troubleshooting, punch lists, warranty claims, and Management of Change.
- Develop surveillance and administration programs for critical rotating equipment on new projects.
- Define best practices and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
- Develop plans and work schedules that meet section and division KPIs.
- Provide technical input to other disciplines and functions.
- Control and supervise contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Guide less experienced engineers in implementing integrity and reliability systems.
- Maintain an issue register for critical issues and new technology risks affecting reliability, availability, and cyber security.
- Prepare discipline handover packages for the operating company following start-up.
- Support high-risk commissioning through system surveillance, equipment tuning and optimization, and advice to Operations and Maintenance.
Requirements
- Specialist expertise in rotating equipment engineering and related reliability systems.
- Ability to provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and other disciplines.
