Role Overview
Monitor outsourced operations and maintenance at ambient air quality monitoring stations.
The role includes station visits, contractor oversight, environmental data review, audit support, emergency response, and maintenance coordination.
Station and Contractor Oversight
- Review contractor daily reports, calibration reports, maintenance activities, and quality control activities.
- Ensure property and equipment are secure and verify that replacement spare parts meet approved specifications.
- Control operational and maintenance activities at ambient air quality stations and related network control systems.
- Track maintenance, calibration, and recertification schedules and verify contractor compliance.
Data and Records
- Review station data to detect abnormalities and report issues for further action.
- Maintain station inventories, data, reports, logs, and certificates to ensure traceability.
- Report contractor HSE statistics on a monthly basis.
Emergency and Audit Activities
- Be available 24x7 during emergencies and participate in incident investigations.
- Provide ambient air quality and meteorological data to incident investigation teams.
- Arrange movement of the mobile monitoring station to incident locations, including permits and power supply.
- Assist technical systems and performance audit contractors and conduct independent first-party internal audits.
Maintenance Coordination
- Conduct regular station visits to oversee air conditioning, generator tests, pest control, and general maintenance.
- Raise SAP requests and coordinate with the maintenance division for station maintenance.
- Raise SAP requests for troubleshooting air quality modelling servers.
Emergency Availability
- The role requires 24x7 availability during emergencies.
