Role Overview
Serve as the company focal point for permits issued on site during hook-up and commissioning phases.
Assist the Head of Commissioning with PTW planning and work execution deadlines in line with the project schedule.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong link between PTW preparation, HSE requirements, and work execution.
- Check permits, supporting documents, certificates, signatures, isolations, confined space entry records, and gas-test compliance before issue.
- Attend PTW coordination and SIMOPS daily meetings and align PTW activities with commissioning schedules and delivery.
- Ensure timely permit submission and closure and coordinate PTW activities to prevent clashes and SIMOPS with other work parties.
- Provide daily and weekly reporting, liaise with contractors and subcontractors, and follow up on observed permit failure modes.
- Convert relevant permit-to-work failure modes into company lessons learned.
Compliance Requirements
- Ensure permit preparation and submission comply with PTW procedures, project processes, HSE requirements, and SHE requirements.
- Audit permits, isolations, confined space entry certificates, and gas-test compliance against PTW processes and project needs.
