Plant Inspection Duties
- Conduct external visual examinations and NDT examinations of vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, pressure safety devices, piping, and lifting equipment.
- Perform preliminary integrity assessments of static equipment and piping, interpret findings, and issue inspection reports using Meridium or similar software.
- Inspect maintenance and capital project work in the field for compliance with welding, painting, fabrication, installation, and applicable standards.
- Carry out or supervise dye penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, hardness, eddy current, IRIS, thermography, PMI, metallography, boroscopy, and other tests as required.
- Initiate inspection recommendations, track mitigation actions to completion, and maintain inspection reports, records, instruments, tools, and equipment.
Role Requirements
- Follow company inspection policies, procedures, safety requirements, and applicable international codes and standards.
- Maintain computerized inspection records and update inspection test results and related data.
- Coordinate procurement of additional inspection instruments and undertake other inspection duties assigned by the Inspection Engineer or Senior Inspection Engineer.
