Role Overview
Provide mechanical engineering support for division strategy, asset integrity, reliability, and operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Perform design reviews, commissioning, start-up, failure analysis, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Develop work packs for maintenance-executed modifications.
- Define best practices and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
- Develop plans and schedules to meet section and division KPIs.
- Provide technical input to other disciplines and functions.
- Supervise contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Guide less experienced engineers in integrity and reliability system implementation.
- Support project tie-in requirements for systems within the area of responsibility.
- Maintain an issue register and address critical issues and technology risks.
- Provide Management of Change support and solutions for asset integrity and reliability.
- Participate in safety, Cold Eye, and Value Improvement Workshops.
- Participate in RCFA, SBRAs, risk screening, and Formal Risk Assessments.
Requirements
- 8–13 years of relevant experience.
- Mechanical engineering expertise across asset integrity, reliability, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Ability to guide less experienced engineers in integrity and reliability systems.
