Role Overview
Support implementation of an integrated risk-management process across major capital programmes or projects.
The role focuses on threats, opportunities, mitigation, contingency, reporting, and quantitative cost and schedule assessment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement risk-management processes tailored to client needs and industry best practice.
- Facilitate risk workshops with clients and project teams.
- Support risk-management processes and practices for clients and their organizations.
- Produce reports communicating threat and opportunity status.
- Drive mitigation actions and develop measurable management responses.
- Assess post-mitigation positions and maintain visibility of trigger points.
- Develop risk-contingency processes and support risk-budget drawdown or risk retirement.
- Lead, guide, support, and mentor risk specialists and wider roles.
- Conduct quantitative cost and schedule risk assessments for project contingency levels.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree with 8 to 15 years of relevant work experience, or previous proven experience in a risk-management environment.
- Working understanding of integrated risk management covering risk, cost, and schedule on large programmes or projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to finding new and more effective ways of working.
- APM or IRM risk certification is preferred.
