About the company

Rigging and lifting operations

• Supervise daily operations involving cranes, hoists, chain blocks, slings, and other lifting equipment.
• Review lifting plans, load calculations, and weight distribution before execution.
• Ensure proper selection, inspection, and use of lifting accessories.
• Coordinate lifting operations across Civil, Mechanical, and E&I disciplines.

Safety and workforce leadership

• Enforce HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and approved lifting procedures.
• Conduct job safety analyses and risk assessments for critical lifting activities.
• Lead riggers, crane operators, signalmen, helpers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct toolbox talks, pre-lift meetings, safety briefings, and mentoring.

Equipment and reporting

• Ensure lifting equipment and rigging accessories are available, certified, maintained, and properly stored.
• Maintain equipment inventories, inspection records, lifting registers, certificates, and daily activity reports.
• Coordinate lifting schedules with construction teams, engineers, planners, and site management.
• Support lift reports, incident investigations, manpower tracking, and equipment-hours reporting.

Experience

• 10–12 years of rigging and lifting supervision experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, industrial construction, or EPC projects.
• Proven experience managing complex and critical lifting operations.

Education and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certified Rigging Supervisor and/or Certified Crane Operator qualification is required.
• Lifting Supervisor or Lifting Planner certification is preferred.
• HSE, OSHA, or NEBOSH certification and training in load calculations, rigging inspections, and lifting operations are required.

Skills and competencies

• Knowledge of cranes, hoists, rigging accessories, lifting methodologies, international lifting standards, and HSE regulations.
• Strong leadership, team management, planning, coordination, communication, and risk assessment abilities.
• Ability to work in fast-paced EPC construction environments.
