Role Overview

Interface Coordination and Management

• Establish and implement the project Interface Management Framework.
• Identify, monitor, and resolve critical interfaces between contractors, engineering teams, and external stakeholders.
• Proactively address interface issues to minimize project risks, delays, and conflicts.

Stakeholder and Technical Coordination

• Serve as the primary focal point for interface-related matters.
• Lead interface meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions across project stakeholders.
• Review and approve Interface Control Documents and related technical documentation.
• Coordinate resolution of technical incompatibilities and design conflicts.

Schedule, Risk, and Reporting

• Integrate interface activities into the overall project schedule and monitor interdependent deliverables.
• Identify interface-related risks and opportunities and maintain mitigation and contingency plans.
• Maintain interface records, agreements, action logs, decision registers, and regular progress reports.
• Collaborate with HSE and QA/QC teams to support safety and quality compliance.

Leadership

• Lead and mentor the interface management team.
• Provide guidance and training on interface management best practices.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

Experience

• At least 15 years of project management experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial, infrastructure, marine, or large-scale construction projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in interface management, project coordination, or a similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering interfaces throughout project lifecycles.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Civil, Structural, Construction, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• A Master's degree in Project Management or Engineering Management is highly desirable.
• PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.
• OSHA, NEBOSH, or another relevant construction safety certification is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of civil, mechanical, electrical, marine, and plant engineering disciplines.
• Expertise in interface management systems, project controls, and risk management.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and related project management tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
