Responsibilities
- Lead a team to provide exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and maintain operational excellence
- Model and coach the selling model within the store by engaging customers and motivating associates
- Execute, communicate, and ensure understanding of flyer and promotional items
- Cultivate a selling culture with associates by learning, adopting, and teaching new trends, products, and services
- Support operational excellence and store brand standards for all areas of the store
- Supervise aspects of health & safety, loss prevention, and policies and procedures
- Conduct training of associates within the store and inspire continuous learning and development
- As a keyholder, ensure the safe opening and closing of the store, handle daily and weekly tasks associated with timekeeping and payroll
Requirements
- 3+ years of retail sales experience required; direct experience in technology sales preferred
- 1 2 years of experience in a supervisory role with direct accountability for achieving sales and service targets is preferred
- Strong communication skills to inspire both our customers and associates
- Ability to operate in a fast paced environment with strong prioritization and multi tasking skills

Job Description
- As a Sales Supervisor at Staples, you will lead a team to provide exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and maintain operational excellence.
- You perform essential leadership duties to ensure smooth operations and uphold store standards. As a keyholder, you act as a leader on duty.
Specifically, you will
- Customer Engagement: Model and coach our selling model within the store by engaging customers and motivating associates.
- Sales Execution: Demonstrate a high degree of customer engagement and find ways to maximize sales while effectively assisting customers.
- Team Leadership: Cultivate a selling culture with associates by learning, adopting, and teaching new trends, products, and services.
- Operational Excellence: Support operational excellence and store brand standards for all areas of the store.
- Training and Development: Dedicate time for self development and enable others to do the same.
- Administrative Duties: As a keyholder, ensure the safe opening and closing of the store, handle daily and weekly tasks associated with timekeeping and payroll.
Some Of What You Need
- 3+ years of retail sales experience required; direct experience in technology sales preferred.
- 1 2 years of experience in a supervisory role with direct accountability for achieving sales and service targets is preferred.
