Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, including Shawarma Chefs, Order Takers, Food Runners, and Cashiers
- Provide leadership and direction to staff during service periods, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance
- Oversee food preparation activities, including marinating meat, cooking shawarma, assembling wraps and platters, and preparing side dishes and accompaniments
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation, ensuring that all menu items meet established standards
- Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries, taking orders, and resolving complaints
- Ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service at all times
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels, making adjustments as necessary
- Monitor inventory levels of food ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials, and coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of inventory movement and usage
- Minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover to maximize profitability
- Supervise cash handling procedures, including processing customer payments, reconciling cash registers or POS systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in supervisory role, preferably in street food or fast casual restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food and beverage items, including menu descriptions, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Food Handling Certificate, NOC and QID

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, including Shawarma Chefs, Order Takers, Food Runners, and Cashiers, to ensure efficient and effective operation of the food stall or food truck.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff during service periods, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
- Oversee food preparation activities, including marinating meat, cooking shawarma, assembling wraps and platters, and preparing side dishes and accompaniments.

Qualification, Experience & Knowledge

- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food and beverage items, including menu descriptions, ingredients, and preparation methods.

- Preferred Arab nationality.
- With valid Food Handling Certificate, NOC and QID.
