Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they approach the food stall or food truck
- Assist customers in selecting menu items, providing recommendations, and answering questions about ingredients, flavors, and portion sizes
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all special requests and modifications are recorded correctly
- Verify order details with customers to confirm accuracy before finalizing the transaction
- Communicate customer orders to the kitchen staff or food preparation team promptly
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to prioritize orders during peak service periods
- Monitor order status and provide updates to customers as needed
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and courteously
- Ensure that customers receive prompt and efficient service at all times
- Thank customers for their patronage and invite them to return
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the order counter, POS station, and surrounding areas
- Ensure that menus, promotional materials, and other customer facing materials are stocked and displayed neatly
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in food service, preferably in street food or fast casual restaurant environment
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with POS systems or order management systems
- Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Assist customers in selecting menu items, providing recommendations, and answering questions about ingredients, flavors, and portion sizes.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all special requests and modifications are recorded correctly.
- Verify order details with customers to confirm accuracy before finalizing the transaction.
- Communicate customer orders to the kitchen staff or food preparation team promptly, ensuring that they are prepared in the order received.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to prioritize orders during peak service periods and ensure that all orders are completed within the expected timeframe.
- Monitor order status and provide updates to customers as needed, including estimated wait times for order completion.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and courteously, resolving issues to the best of your ability or escalating them to a supervisor if necessary.
- Ensure that customers receive prompt and efficient service at all times, striving to exceed their expectations and enhance their dining experience.
- Thank customers for their patronage and invite them to return to the food stall or food truck in the future.
- Familiarize yourself with the food stall or food truck's menu offerings, including shawarma wraps, platters, and side dishes.
- Stay informed about menu changes, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers and make appropriate recommendations.
Qualification, Experience & Knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in food service, preferably in street food or fast casual restaurant environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Pay
