- Manage patients to the highest standards of care within Dallah Hospital
- Perform arterial punctures for ABG analysis
- Administer oxygen therapy and monitor patients
- Set up and adjust mechanical ventilation settings
- Conduct pulmonary function testing
- Provide non invasive ventilation support (BiPAP/CPAP)
- Perform regular checks on ventilators, ABG machines, and other equipment
- Participate in quality improvement programs
- Educate patients and families on care decisions
Requirements
- Experience in respiratory therapy
- Ability to perform arterial punctures and ABG analysis
- Proficiency in mechanical ventilation management
- Knowledge of oxygen therapy and aerosol therapy
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Job Overview
- Manage patients for whom he/she is responsible to the highest attainable standards within Dallah Hospital.
Clinical Duties
- Perform arterial punctures for ABG analysis
- Tracheal suction and sampling of intubated patients
- Tracheal tube, tracheostomy tube, and oral hygiene
- Nebulizer dosing, timing, and monitoring
- Oxygen therapy administration and monitoring
- Mechanical ventilation setting, changes, and recording
- Pulse Oximetry monitoring
- Aerosol therapy including dosing and timing
- Sputum collection and suction pressure adjustment
- Transport support of patients on mechanical ventilation
- Pulmonary function testing
- Non invasive ventilation support and monitoring (BiPAP and CPAP)
Non Clinical Duties
- Mechanical Ventilators regular check list
- ABG machine regular check list
- Nebulizer (Aero Neb. Pro) regular check list
- Ambu bags regular check list
- Stored respiratory accessories regular checklist
- Humidifiers regular check list
- BiPAP regular checklist
- Develop and coordinate the Quality Improvement Program
- Participate in patient and family education
- Perform any other duties as directed by Chief Respiratory Therapist or Head of Department
