- Perform complete pulmonary function testing
- Conduct skin prick allergy testing under the direct supervision of the pulmonologist
- Administer respiratory therapy for inpatient (IP) cases
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain all respiratory therapy and diagnostic equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation of all tests
- Identify and report critical values or abnormal test results immediately to the responsible physician
- Adhere strictly to infection control and clinical safety standards during all procedures
- Participate in quality assurance committee meetings, provider meetings, and general staff meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Respiratory Care Technology from a recognized institution
- Valid DHA License (Dubai Health Authority) to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- Currently licensed in country of origin and with DHA license to practice in Dubai U.A.E.
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Self motivation and the ability to work under pressure
- IT competencies

Overview
- The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessment, treatment, and management of patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
- They work with patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, and play a vital role in various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complete pulmonary function testing
- Conduct skin prick allergy testing under the direct supervision of the pulmonologist
- Administer respiratory therapy for inpatient (IP) cases
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain all respiratory therapy and diagnostic equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation of all tests
- Identify and report critical values or abnormal test results immediately to the responsible physician
- Submit timely and complete reports to the medical records department
- Adhere strictly to infection control and clinical safety standards during all procedures
- Maintain up to date knowledge of respiratory therapy practices, protocols, and advancements
- Participate actively in quality assurance committee meetings, provider meetings, and general staff meetings
Qualifications & Licensure
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Respiratory Care Technology from a recognized institution
- Valid DHA License (Dubai Health Authority) to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- Currently licensed in country of origin and with DHA license to practice in Dubai U.A.E.

- Fluent spoken and written English. Spoken Arabic is advantageous but not essential.

- Notify OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues

- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
- Comply with Waste management procedures and policies
