The role shapes how safety research is understood by researchers, journalists, policymakers, and the broader public.
The position develops and executes external communications strategies for alignment, evaluations, and the safe development and deployment of increasingly capable AI systems.
The role partners with research leadership, researchers, policy, product, safety, legal, and communications teams.
The position is based in San Francisco, California and follows a hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office.
